Tysers takes on corporate governance expert
Tysers has hired Trevor Newbery as an additional non-executive director.
The Lloyd’s broker said the move was part of a continuing strategy to further the company’s corporate governance development programme to ensure an appropriate balance of non-executive representation on the board.
Mr Newbery has been working in the market since 1969 and was until recently a partner at Grant Thornton UK, where he continues to act in a consultancy role as deputy chairman insurance group, financial services advisory. He specialises in business and regulatory issues for the
