MMA to buy Provident Insurance
Covea Group owned insurer MMA has agreed a long touted deal to acquire the Halifax based motor insurer Provident.
Covea said the acquisition of Provident Insurance from Car Care Plan (Holdings), a subsidiary of the US financial services company, Ally Financial (formerly GMAC) was is in line with its previously stated international growth strategy.
"The activities of Provident Insurance are highly complementary to our existing United Kingdom operations. Known for its technical excellence, Provident Insurance represents a great opportunity for Covéa to add to its international operations," stated Thierry
