Heath Lambert reacts to departures in Scotland

Heath Lambert has announced a series of appointments in Scotland.

The news follows the departure of Mark Webster and his team to Towergate Insurance Aberdeen.

The broker confirmed that Mark Bourke has been promoted to managing director Scotland and will be responsible for the commercial Scottish offices.

Jon Webster joins the team from Giles Insurance Brokers as account executive, while Liz Cochrane and Craig Devlin join as account handlers from Towergate and Insurance Management Group respectively.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
