Axa makes latest commercial team appointment

Alasdair Stewart head of business development Chartered Insurance Institute

Axa has appointed the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) Alasdair Stewart as commercial director.

He will be tasked with leading the development of the insurer’s broker proposition and will join the commercial lines team on 1 July.

Most recently he led corporate development at the CII where he created an extensive network of relationships within the regional and national broking community. He will report directly to Amanda Blanc, chief executive of Axa Commercial.
