Lockton recruits former chairman of RICS in Scotland

Lockton has appointed Janey Milligan as a consultant to its professions team in Scotland.

Ms Milligan, managing director of Construction Dispute Resolution, was chairman of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in Scotland from 2007 to 2008.

According to the company, Ms Milligan will be working as a quasi non-executive, providing advice to the management team and helping Lockton to network with key players in the construction sector.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
