Heath Lambert reportedly in takeover talks
Arthur J Gallagher International is in takeover talks with London market broker Heath Lambert, say sources close to the company.
According to Insurance Age's sister title Post, the proposed acquisition is at an advanced stage, which would mark Gallagher’s most ambitious acquisition yet in the UK market.
In 2010, Heath Lambert CEO Adrian Colosso told Post it “would be a shame” if the firm was acquired and lost its independent status, though declined to rule out the possibility of a sale.
He said: "We have been around for 130 odd years, so it would be a shame if it wasn't around any more. I would like to see it grow again
