Willis exec jumps ship for rival broker

willis-head-office

Executive director and major client advocate at Willis Finex Global, Mike Earp, has resigned to take up a senior post at Aon, Insurance Age understands.

A market source has claimed that Mr Earp, who also held the position of managing director at professional risk advice and education at Willis, is set to join Aon as an executive director and head of construction in the broker's professional indemnity division.

The recruitment of Mr Earp follows JLT's raid on Aon's professional services team in October last year which saw the departure of Michael Silcock and his team.

He joined Willis in July 2005 as MD of professional risk advice and education
