Phil Bird leaves Groupama

Groupama Insurance’s claims director, Phil Bird, is to leave the company following an internal restructure.

Groupama said it undertook the restructure of the claims division to ensure it was more closely aligned with the company's business divisions and “focused sharply on the particular needs of partner brokers and their clients”.

Operational responsibility for the company's claims centre will switch from Mr Bird to Kevin Kiernan and Malcolm Smith, the respective directors of Groupama's personal and commercial lines divisions.
