Health news: Pruhealth seeks to broaden its range in wake of SLH aquisition
Pruhealth is targeting general insurance brokers with a range of new healthcare plans following the acquisition of Standard Life Health (SLH) in August last year.
The fourth largest private medical insurance provider is launching the new range to intermediaries in January and brokers will be able to quote for new business from 31 January for policies starting from 1 March 2011.
Dave Priestley, sales and marketing director at Pruhealth, said: "We have developed an extensive footprint in the specialist intermediary sector and we would now like to broaden this out and embark on new relationships with general insurance brokers."
