Matson named as new Insurance Leadership Group chair
Peter Matson, chief underwriter, Novae has been confirmed as the new chair of The Prince’s Trust Insurance Leadership Group (ILG), succeeding Julian Enoizi. Mr Matson will be supported by three new vice chairs – James Geffen, director, Miller; Elizabeth Foster, managing director, Ingram Hawkins and Nock and Laurence Walker, CEO, SSP.
The ILG has raised £4.5m over just five years, bringing together brokers, insurers and specialist suppliers to help young people turn their lives around.The group also aims to make it easier for disadvantaged young people to gain insurance.
Mr Matson said: “I am determined to drive the ILG even further this year. We want to raise £1m in 2011, which will give hundreds of young people the skills and confidence to find their first job. It’s an ambitious target, but – with the support of the
