Hastings Direct to recruit 350 new staff in 2011
Bexhill-based insurance broker Hastings Direct has announced that the first 150 posts will be created by summer 2011.
The first 60 of these posts will be recruited in January 2011 from the Bexhill, Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton and Hove areas for an immediate start with the remaining 90 new roles expected to be filled by the summer.
Overall the company expects to recruit 350 roles throughout 2011.
The new recruitment drive is to meet expansion from growing customer demand. According to Hastings in 2010 a new customer joined every 90 seconds.
