Besso launches online commercial MGA
Besso Group has launched a managing general agent (MGA), named Gladstone Underwriting, to provide a “unique” online commercial underwriting facility.
Besso said its ultimate aim was to accommodate a composite style approach across all classes of commercial insurance within the next five years.
It added that in the meantime this arrangement will be complemented with access to Novae's motor fleet underwriters.
Novae Syndicates, the underwriting capacity provider, has worked closely with Gladstone Underwriting to build a bespoke system to create a virtual insurer.
Gladstone Underwriting will focus exclusively on UK commercial business offering
