CII aims to improve claims process with formation of new think tank group

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has brought together a group of young insurance professionals to consider and develop new and innovative ways to improve the claims process.

The New Generation Claims Group is comprised of eight insurance practitioners who have been nominated by senior management within the profession.

The group will investigate how social media can be used to improve customer communications during a claims surge and will present a report to the CII claims faculty board in March 2011 and look to implement successful techniques within their own companies.
