JLT announces name change
Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group has announced the forthcoming change of name of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited (JLTL) to JLT Specialty Limited.
Jonathan Palmer-Brown will become chairman with effect from 1 October 2010, subject to Financial Services Authority approval. Martin Hiller, who has led the transformation of the business over the last five years as CEO of JLTL, will continue as CEO of JLT Specialty.
In a statement the company said: "This change of name to JLT Specialty underlines the highly specialised services provided to clients and the depth of expertise and experience available to each individual client.
