Former PowerPlace sales director Wayne Tonge joins Keelan Westall

Commercial property insurance broker Keelan Westall – part of the property and commercial division of Barbon Insurance Group – has appointed Wayne Tonge as head of business.

Mr Tonge will be responsible for driving sales for both Keelan Westall and its let property insurance scheme BIBALet. His remit will also cover underwriting, marketing and operations.

Prior to joining Keelan Westall, Mr Tonge was sales director at PowerPlace, where Keelan Westhall said he helped grow GWP from £1.3m to £14.1m in the first year. He held the same position at Towergate from October 2007 to December 2008.
