ABI appoints new investment committee chairman

Alain Dromer, chief executive of Aviva Investors, is to become the next Investment Committee Chairman of the Association of British Insurers (ABI).

Mr Dromer will take on this new role on 15 September 2010, replacing Keith Skeoch, chief executive of Standard Life Investments, who will step down having completed three years in office. As a result of this appointment Mr Dromer will join the board of the ABI.
