Bluefin acquires another broker
Bluefin has acquired St Albans-based Gilbert Business Insurance Brokers (GBIB), Insurance Age has learnt.
Bluefin said while GBIB would continue to operate from its current offices for the immediate future, it would ultimately relocate to Bluefin premises in Milton Keynes.
Stuart Reid, Bluefin chief executive, commented: "Hot on the heels of our acquisition of GM Towns in Peterborough we are pleased to announce this second acquisition in the region. GBIB is well known to us as a member of our network and they have both a good client bank and an excellent reputation in the area.
