News: Powell Insurance MD makes speedy departure
The managing director of Liverpool-based Powell Insurance Brokers, Eliot Powell, has left the company, a mere 18 months after selling up to Oval.
Oval acquired Powell Insurance Brokers in October 2008, with Mr Powell staying on to head up the office.
Insurance Age understands that Mr Powell has joined a rival brokerage in the area, however this could not be confirmed at the time of going to press and Oval would not divulge details of his future plans.
However, Jeff Herman, group MD of Oval, confirmed: "Eliot Powell has left Oval. He is passing on the business to the existing management."
