Rival targets broker market

Direct insurer Rival Insurance is venturing into the intermediary market with an online self drive hire fleet offering.

Rival said its management software programme can pre-qualify the driver and the rental vehicle in real time, minimising risk to the rental company and insurer which could result in the possibility of reduced premiums.

According to Rival, the benefits for brokers include: good commission at no debt risk; reduced risk for clients; competitive 24hr quotes; client retention and a choice of annual, daily or monthly rates

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
