Payton succeeds Marriage as CIFS underwriting manager

Neil Payton has been appointed as underwriting manager at Credit Indemnity & Financial Services (CIFS).

He succeeds Richard Marriage, who has been with the company for 10 years and leaves to join Euler Hermes as part of its world agency unit.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
