Budget 2010: Questions raised over how SME measures will be delivered

The Chancellor’s proposals for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) have received a lukewarm welcome with experts voicing concern over how they will work in practice.

Edward Rimmer, UK chief executive at specialist business finance provider at Bibby Financial Services, said: "Darling's list of four measures designed to support small and medium-sized businesses simply doesn't add up. Nor does the package go far enough to help UK businesses play their part in driving economic growth."
