PowerPlace targets brokers with new head office

PowerPlace has opened a new head office in Warwickshire, between Warwick and Leamington Spa.

Close to the M40, the office will be the base for the 80 strong team, including its client facing broker development managers and business consultants.

PowerPlace's chief executive, Matthew Reed, said he saw the move as an important step forward in the business' growth plans.

Brokers have mixed reaction on Zurich/Beazley deal

Insurance brokers have given a mixed response to the potential Zurich/Beazley deal highlighting the acquisition would create a “strong proposition” and could create opportunities but noted another competitor leaving the market as a medium-term worry.
