QBE is to make a renewed effort to win broker business through a nationwide road show as it develops its strategy to become a top five property insurer

QBE is to make a renewed effort to win broker business through a nationwide road show as it develops its strategy to become a top five property insurer.

Managing director of QBE's property division, Bernard Mageean, said: "When a broker thinks property, I want them to automatically think QBE."

The Australian insurer estimated that at the end of 2008, it had a 3% share of the property market but Mr Mageean said he hoped figures, due to be released shortly, would reveal a rise to 5% for the end of

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
