Giles offloads construction book
Orpington-based book sold to Maidstone broker
Giles has sold a sizable part of the business it originally acquired when it bought Shephard Insurance Brokers to independent intermediary McMurdo Potipher Webb (MPW).
The Orpington-based construction book has been sold to the local Maidstone broker for an undisclosed sum.
The move followed Oval's recent announcement that it was to sell two of its brokers, Wilkinson Rodgers in Huddersfield and Tett Hamilton in Cleveden, back to their original vendors.
