Aviva broker boss reaffirms focus following Mayer exit

Brigid Murphy says Aviva will "put its money where its mouth is"

Aviva's new director of regional brokers said the insurer would remain focused on "levelling the playing field" for intermediaries following the departure of Igal Mayer.

Brigid Murphy, former director of trading at Aviva, said its broker distribution strategy would "continue to move forward in the same direction" after the former chief executive of general insurance left.

She said that through its Personal Best initiative, the insurer was now offering brokers the same personal lines deals
