Martyn Holman claims Summer discussions with Jelf did not lead anywhere

Brightside Group has played down claims that a proportion of the £20m it is raising would be spent on acquiring parts of the Jelf business.

Hitting back at market speculation, chairman of Brightside broking and head of group insurer relationships, Martyn Holman, said: "That would pretty much depend on whether there were any parts [of Jelf] left to buy.
