Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited (JLT) has warned of the “disconnect” between the insurance and reinsurance markets.
Speaking at yesterday’s JLT and XL Insurance Association of Insurance and Risk Managers (Airmic) breakfast briefing, Andrew Sainsbury, a partner at JLT Reinsurance Brokers, said the markets had been moving at a different pace in recent years and that this trend is likely to continue until insurance rates improve.
