Insurer rolls out fraud solution across its household and commercial business

Groupama Insurances has rolled out fraud prevention solution Hunter across its household and commercial insurance business.

The move follows the implementation of Hunter for all motor and fleet applications and claims, at the start of 2009.

A web-based system, Hunter works on the principle of data sharing, accessing information from insurers and financial institutions on known fraudsters.

The insurer said that by using the system it can check applications and claims for any discrepancies
