Fitzmaurice reveals Hastings' affinity plans as branch opens

Hastings Direct chief talks one year on from MBO

Hastings Direct chief executive, Edward Fitzmaurice, has spoken of the business' affinity ambitions ahead of its first branch opening.

Mr Fitzmaurice revealed that the company, through specialist broking arm Renew Insurance Services, which it acquired earlier this year, was testing with "several potential affinity partners".

As Insurance Age went to press, the company was also on the verge of opening its first Hastings Local branch. The premises, which will open within the company's own Bexhill
