British drivers among safest in Europe, say Axa

Drivers in Britain are the second safest in Europe, according to new research

British drivers are among most law abiding and sensible drivers in Europe, according to new research from Axa.

In its annual survey of driver behaviour in 10 European countries, Axa found that British drivers are the second safest in Europe. Ireland topped the poll for the safest driving.

The research covers 11 different driving behaviours, many that are governed by legal requirements as well as some general courteous or sensible driving habits.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
