Aviva to cut 100 staff in John Kitson's division

Changes linked with announcement about broker sales and marketing restructure

Aviva has told staff involved in its broker sales and marketing function that it expects to make up to 100 staff redundant as part of a restructure.

The move follows the earlier announcement of a shake up in the department which was unveiled at the time that current Aviva sales and marketing director John Kitson revealed he planned to step down from the role and leave the insurer in March 2010.
