Consumer confidence on rise
Research reveals British levels of confidence have increased more than other European countries
British consumers are increasingly optimistic about their financial future, according to research released today.
The 2009 Genworth Index for Great Britain reveals that UK levels of consumer confidence have increased more than other European countries.
Great Britain ranked 10 out of 14 European countries in terms of relative financial vulnerability, with an improved index score of 10, dropping from 23 points in 2008.
