RBS to close Finsure
About 80 jobs will be affected
Royal Bank of Scotland has announced plans to close Finsure Premium Finance.
If the proposal is approved, the acceptance of new business will cease in the first half of 2010 and existing business will be run off over a 12 month period.
Finsure Premium Finance offers both personal and commercial premium finance to policyholders wishing to pay by monthly instalments. It currently employs about 80 full time staff in London and Peterborough.
