FSCS review confirmed
The move has been welcomed by the British Insurance Brokers' Association
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has confirmed it is set to review the financial services compensation scheme (FSCS) following broker opposition.
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) said the review was confirmed following a meeting last week between the organisation and the FSA.
However, a spokeswoman for the FSA said the watchdog announced it would undertake a review of the scheme back in June, adding: “We last undertook a review in 06/07 abnd a lot has happened since then
