Online insurance transactions increase

However, insurers are failing to capitalise on this according to new research

Research released today reveals that 63% of British adults are conducting more insurance transactions online than they did in the past due to the current economic climate.

In the 2009 Survey of Online Consumer Behaviour, conducted by Harris Interactive, 79% say the main reason is the ability to compare products and prices.
