Biba and NMU launch new marine scheme
The scheme takes the place of two separate marine cargo options
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has appointed Northern Marine Underwriters (NMU) as the carrier for its exclusive members' scheme for marine cargo insurance.
The scheme has replaced two separate marine cargo options which were based upon a traditional route and an alternative wording not linked to institute cargo clauses.
Biba has said its members would now benefit from a no-nonsense cargo wording underwritten using an internet trading platform, combining ease of administration
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
