Lancashire police and the IFB join forces in two year investigation

A fraud investigation, lasting two years, has resulted in the arrest of six men in the Lancashire area.

The enquiry, code named Flash, was conducted by Lancashire Police in partnership with the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB).

As a result of a string of dawn raids, three men have been charged with conspiracy to steal from insurance companies with the remaining three still in custody, helping police with their enquiries. The police said they anticipated further arrests would be made.
