Biba welcomes crackdown on uninsured drivers

The Department for Transport has announced new measures which will make it an offence to keep an uninsured vehicle

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has welcomed today’s announcement from the Department for Transport that it plans to crackdown on uninsured vehicles.

The new measures confirmed by road safety minister Paul Clark will make it an offence to keep an uninsured vehicle – rather than just to drive when uninsured.
