Insurance Age has published its popular annual Top 50 Brokers in Personal Lines supplement

This year's Top 50 shows that brokers are still holding their own in the personal lines space. Together the Top 50 control some £5bn of premium income which in turn represents 25-30% of the overall market.

Tony Cornell's analysis shows that the top 10 are dominating with £3.75bn under their belt - 60% of the broker arena. He also points out that despite common perceptions, the broker market has held its own in the face of aggregators and direct writers. The landscape isn't as daunting as we are
