Higos doubles home emergency cover
Policy now allows for three £500 claims per year
Higos Insurance Services has more than doubled the value of its home emergency cover, allowing policyholders to claim more for home assistance or major appliance breakdown.
The change means policyholders can now make up to three claims to the value of £500 each per year.
The plan, which offers a 24-hour helpline, not only covers emergencies causing damage to the policyholder's property, but also the cost of repairs to major appliances.
