General merger welcomes Hubbard back to industry
Industry veteran Peter Hubbard is set to make a comeback as a board-member of UK General Insurance.
The Leeds-based underwriting business, which would control £200m of gross written premium, is on course to start trading by the end of the year, following the merger of PBS Holdings and Longhawk. Until then, Mr Hubbard will sit on the individual boards of companies involved in the merger.
Since leaving his post as chief executive of Axa Insurance in April 2008, Mr Hubbard has been vice president
