Brokers are targeted in rising negligence claims
Brokers are in the 'firing line' as legal experts chart a significant rise in negligence claims over the past year.
Miles Emblin, founding member of the British Insurance Brokers' Association, who has been an expert witness and mediator for the past decade, revealed that 50% of the cases he had been involved with in the last 12 months involved allegations of broker negligence, a figure far higher than expected.
