New indemnity MGA launched
Tobell Underwriting Agency enters PI market
A new managing general agent (MGA) aimed at the profession indemnity (PI) market has been launched.
Set up by David Marriott and James Packham, Tobell Underwriting Agency (TUA) will underwrite most professional classes except solicitors and surveyors PI from offices in Leadenhall Street in the City. Major target classes will include engineers, architects and IT consultants. TUA will be able to underwrite to a limit of £2m any one claim with top up facilities up to £10m.
