Former Scottish Widows man lands UK COO role

RSA has announced the appointment of Christian Torkington to the role of UK chief operating officer, reporting to UK CEO, Adrian Brown.

Mr Torkington has joined from Scottish Widows where he was managing director of operations. Prior to this, Mr Torkington worked at Barclays Bank in a variety of senior operational and business roles. He was also the CEO of an economic development agency and has held a number of consulting and accountancy roles in both the UK and Hong Kong.
