Global economy predicted to get worse before recovering
The global economy is set for a relapse in the second half of this year and economic recovery in the UK will be sluggish, according to Axa Group's chief economist.
Speaking at the Axa media seminar in Bordeaux, Eric Chaney said that although markets were increasingly optimistic of recovery, it was likely any recovery would be a blip.
