The Financial Services Authority's (FSA) performance is "outstanding" in comparison to its continental peers, according to the chief executive of Axa Insurance UK.

Philippe Maso, who was sitting in the audience for the 'Delivering Value' debate at this year's British Insurance Brokers' (Biba) annual conference, was asked by guest host, business guru Rene Carayol, to offer an insurer's point of view on the regulator following a series of somewhat critical questions from the floor.
