The Folgate Partnership creates a new underwriting agency
Folgate has announced the formation a new business, Folgate Underwriting Management Specialty (FUMSL), which will provide underwriting services for Folgate and other selected brokers.
The new business will manage underwriting capacity in personal and commercial lines on behalf of Wellington Underwriting Agencies; the Lloyd’s managing agency wholly owned by Wellington Underwriting.The new business will be operational and writing business from the 1 January 2004 and Folgate said they were aiming to write £65m gross written premium through the facility by 2005.
