Royal & Sun Alliance has appointed Pat Regan as group financial controller, subject to approval by the Financial Services Authority. Mr Regan is currently finance and claims director of UK general insurance business at Axa, a position he has held since November 2001. The appointment comes hard on the heels of the appointment of George Culmer as chief financial officer.
