Smart and Cook has revealed the latest phase of its growth strategy with a new strategic partnership with HBOS Commercial Insurance. Based in Leeds, the new combined operation will be focused on meeting the insurance needs of HBOS corporate banking customers, with a particular emphasis on companies with an annual turnover in excess of £1m. Under the new arrangement, approximately 60 HBOS commercial insurance staff will transfer to become employees of Smart and Cook at new premises in Leeds.
