Bollington strengthens position
Bollington further consolidated its position within the market with the acquisition of FM Green and MG Smithies, giving Bollington a gross written premium of nearly £70m. FM Green, a schemes broker, retained its brand name while Wigan-based MG Smithies was re-branded to Bollington. Managing director of FM Green, Andrew Rogers, became managing director of Bollington and FM Green chairman Ian Richens became director of affinity and schemes for Bollington.
